INTENSIVE TRAINING FOR INTENSE TIMES
Turbulent times can offer critical "game changing" opportunities! This morning will be intensive training for "bank" executives to learn how you cannot just maintain, but grow a profitable business—even in the most challenging of economic environments.
Join industry leaders for a tightly packed series of intensive, interactive sessions to help you focus on the areas and activities you can control to drive your program's continuing success. Rob Comfort, President of Huntington Investment Services and Former BISA President, will "MC" this morning's program which will include: |

|
Understanding Bank Program Integration From Both Sides
In today's environment, there is nervousness on the part of bank employees, financial advisors and consumers. This creates new opportunities but requires even greater coordination and trust between the bank and the investment program. Jordan Miller, President and CEO, Fifth Third Bank of Central Ohio, will bring his experience as a former broker dealer president and now president of a large regional bank to discuss the issues of effective program integration including how to reconcile the needs and expectations of all bank and investment/insurance program constituencies.
Controlling Your Own Destiny
In addition to the economy, we must deal with a rapidly changing industry environment and often significant issues within our own firms. The successful leaders manage what they can control to allow them to deal with what they can't. This will be a panel discussion among executives from a number of successful programs. They will share their keys to success—particularly where and how they have focused their efforts in this environment to maintain a high level of morale, productivity and client satisfaction.
Up Close And Personal With The BISA Awards of Excellence Winners
This is an opportunity for in depth dialog with the winners of the BISA 2008 Executive and Programs of the Year Awards. Through an open ended question and answer session, you can explore how they succeed and what aspects of their success you could apply to your own business. Delve into areas such as leadership techniques to maintain advisor morale, focus and productivity; product and service mix to meet current customer needs and anxiety; and organizational structure and interface to assure a unified front and sustained profitability across the enterprise.
At the end of this morning, you should have new ideas, information and insights you can apply when you return home to help raise your program to the next level no matter what the outside environment brings. |
